Robert Washburn

Partner

The desire to create along with his fascination for working with wood developed at early age for Bob. After high school, he began working full time as a builder, constructing homes. In search of a fresh start, he relocated to the north shore in 2003 and was hired to build for a high end custom cabinetry company. There, he acquired more knowledge pertinent to the finer details of woodworking, shop operations, customer service skills, and management training. In 2012, Bob started Washburn Woodworking, doing solo work tailored to small remodel and finish jobs. Two years later, he and his partner, Anthony Cavalieri, teamed up to create Essex Bay Cabinetry and Design.

Anthony has been in the construction field for over 13 years. He began working with custom cabinetry over 6 years ago and has since acquired extensive additional knowledge and experience in designing and building high quality cabinetry. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Architecture. Seeing the same passion he felt for his craft in Bob, the two got together and created Essex Bay Cabinetry and Design.
